SLEEPING AT THE MOMENT

OLIVIA IS SLEEPING AT THE MOMENT AND I THINK SHE IS HAVING A NIGHTMARE SO I HAVE TO GET OFF THE COMPUTER SOON. I JUST HAVE TO WRITE ABOUT OUR LITTLE TRIP TO THE LIBRARY TONIGHT. WELL DONNY GOT IN AROUND 5:15PM FROM TAKING THE KIDS TO SCHOOL AND BY THE TIME WE ATE DINNER IT WAS 7PM. SHE HAS BEEN IN THE HOUSE ALL DAY WATCHING T.V. AND DIDN'T GET TO PEEP OUTSIDE AT ALL. SO I TOLD HER TO GET HER LITTLE BOOTS BECAUSE WE WERE GOING TO THE LIBRARY TO SEE CORDUROY. THAT'S HER NEW BUDDY A THE LIBRARY... A LITTLE TEDDY BEAR. SO WHEN WE GOT THERE I TOOK A FEW PICTURES SO SHE CAN SEE HIM WHEN WE ARE AT HOME...OTHER THAN THE VIDEOS WE WATCH ON YOUTUBE OF HIM. I READ HER SOME BOOKS AND SHE DID SOME PUZZLES. SHE TOLD ME ALL OF HER COLORS IN THE COLOR BOOKS, WE HAD FUN. I KNOW THAT SHE IS A VERY BRIGHT CHILD BECAUSE ALL OF THE THINGS SHE DOES EARLY. SHE IS ALREADY POTTY TRAINED AND SHE HIT EVERY MILDSTONE EARLY. SO THIS IS WHERE I GET TO BRAG AND BOAST ABOUT HER BECAUSE THIS IS HER BOLG. I HAVE A GREAT STORY TO TELL ABOUT PUTTING HER TO BED TONIGHT. THERE ARE A LOT OF THINGS GOING ON IN THE WORLD RIGHT NOW SO I GET MY UPDATES FROM CNN. I WATCH IT ALL OF THE TIME AND SOMETIMES WHEN I AM ROCKING HER TO SLEEP AT NIGHT. WELL THEY ARE DOING ALOT OF STORIES ABOUT THE KILLER WHALE AT SEA WORLD THAT KILLED A LADY RECENTLY AND TWO OTHERS OVER THE YEARS. I THINK SHE WAS IN THE ROOM ONCE WHEN I HAD IT ON AND SHE WAS OBSERVING WHAT I WAS WATCHING. TONIGHT I WAS WATCHING CNN AND THEY STARTED TALKING ABOUT THE WHALE AND SHOWING PICTURES AND VIDEOS OF IT. SHE ASKS ME "MOMMY WHAT IS THAT"? SO I TOLD HER THAT IS WAS A WHALE BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO SAY KILLER. SHE REPLYED, "NO IT'S NOT...IT'S A ORCA". AN ORCA IS THE LARGEST MEMBER OF THE DOLPHIN FAMILY. WHICH IS THE KILLER WHALE THAT KILLED THAT LADY. I WAS SO SHOCKED. OTHER TWO YEAR OLDS DON'T SAY THINGS LIKE THAT. I THOUGHT THEY SAY GOO GOO GAA GAA AND POOP THEIR PANTS. WOW THAT LITTLE GIRL IS SO AMAZING TO ME. I LOVE THAT LITTLE GIRL.

I was thinking the other day...I wonder what my next post will be about. Well I was posting something in Olivia's blog and she was in the kitchen going through the fridge. As soon ans I said, "Olivia get out of the kitchen", I heard a bid thud. I ran in to she was she got in to and this is what I saw as soon as I turned the corner.

So I put her in her crib and told her she had to stay there until I got done cleaning up her mess. When I was done cleaning the mess I returned to her bedroom and this is what she was wearing and what she was doing when I got back. She has a terrible two moment everyday...and this was one of them. Well two, she also took yogurt and smeared it all over her belly this morning at breatfast instead of eating it. This is why I am going back to work and she is going to preschool. I can't stay at home another year because I will be crazy by the time she is four.

Okay my first real post

This is my first real post for this blog. I am making this blog because I use to write down and post everything on my myspace which I will delete when I am done with all of my pictures. I made sure that I saved everything from her first year and her second year and now she is almost 2 1/2 and I am slacking big time on saving her pictures with the right dates on them. Plus I am planning on going back to work and I want to make sure that I don't miss anything or get unorganized with the precious moments in her life. Well thats it for now. It's going to take me a while to fill in the blanks.

Ninth month June22- July 21 2008

This month at the doctor's there were no booboos to take pictures of. When we were waiting for the doctor Olivia tore up the paper she was sitting on. We were really lucky to get Olivia's 9 month photos taken. I was really upset because I wanted to make sure we could get all of the mildstone pictures taken. Donny told me that we couldn't do it because we were really broke. So one day I was at Target walking around upset because after a week or so Olivia was going to turn 10 months old. Well while I was at Target getting wipes I saw a coupon for the photo department. They were giving away a free 8x10 with the purchase of their wipes. I didn't believe it so I went to the photo department right away to see if it were true. The lsay assured me that I was reading it right and she offered to take her pictures right there on the spot. She took a few poses and let me pick the free picture that I wanted. I was so happy and I knew it was one of those moments God was looking out for me. After the photos came back Donn'y mom came with us to pick up the photos and she paid for a little package that included all of the other photos that we couldn't miss out on. So evertime I look at those photos I think of this story.

Eight month May 22- June 21 2008

Seventh month April 22- May 21 2008

This month was the turning point in our lives and this was the begining of a big change. I wish I could have seen this coming. I went back to work but I was missing out on alot of new beginings with Olivia. So I thought the best decision was to quite my job and stay at home with Olivia. We found someone to sublease our apartment in Rochester and moved to Waterford in an apartment that Donny reminded me of everyday that he hated living there. It would give Donny a break because he was working nights at the time and was always tired. He went to work, came home and slept a little, and then I would go to work after being with Olivia in the morning. You can see in these pictures how tired we were. Daycare was out of the question. It cost too much and we didn't want Olivia with people we didn't know all day. But there were some good things going on with Olivia. She is the reason for all of the good memories during this time.

As you can see here I was not working I was holding her. You can tell by my eyes that I was tired. And OMG look at my roots my hair needed to be relaxed or rebraided. And you can see behind me Olivia was all that I thought about when I was at work...her pictures were everywhere.

The first time Olivia and Lleyton saw each other for the first time. I took a billion pictures of the kids together. They had so much fun playing together. When the night ended Olivia was going home but the rest of them were staying at mawmaws. I took this picture before the kids went to bed.


I mad them take pictures while they were playing. I am always the aunt posing the cousins and taking group photos. I'm sure I will get on their nerves when they are teenagers.
