i haven't updated olivia's blog in a long time. i really don't know where to begin and what to post. i guess i will start with whats going on right now. she is getting ready to go to kindergarten. her teacher's approved her to move to the next level and assured us she is more than ready to go. her teachers are excited and confident that she will be reading very early in kindergarten. we are working on sight words, she can write her upper and lower case letters, her numbers 1-15, and so many more exciting things. she has always been smart and it's a gift to watch her grow and move on to the next level. pretty soon we are going school shopping and she is very excited to get a lunch box for school this year. she loves to talk and plan out her day with me. she has to have an input on what she wears down to what goes in her mouth. she loves to help me cook and she enjoys folding wash cloths for me when i am doing the laundry. for the summer she was in cheer camp and at the end of august she will join soccer. her father and i lived with my parents for a year and she went to preschool for a while. it wasn't a safe enviornment so she didn't finish the year out, she was maybe two months away from finishing. when she was 2 1/2 going on 3 she started dance at the same time when she was in preschool. when she turned 4 she had an amazing opportunity to attend the best preschool in our city. and every tuesday she still attended dance class. i found a small dance program that allows her to dance in a dance room and recieve beautiful costumes. in addition to performing on a stage. i am very blessed for the many memories we had when we were very poor. and staying positive wasn't always easy but it got us through the hardest times of our lives. i will include some pictures of all the memories i've written down. olivia is doing an arts and craft right now so i will post a few now and keep updating more until i am finished. they might be a little out of order but i will label them.

SLEEPING AT THE MOMENT

OLIVIA IS SLEEPING AT THE MOMENT AND I THINK SHE IS HAVING A NIGHTMARE SO I HAVE TO GET OFF THE COMPUTER SOON. I JUST HAVE TO WRITE ABOUT OUR LITTLE TRIP TO THE LIBRARY TONIGHT. WELL DONNY GOT IN AROUND 5:15PM FROM TAKING THE KIDS TO SCHOOL AND BY THE TIME WE ATE DINNER IT WAS 7PM. SHE HAS BEEN IN THE HOUSE ALL DAY WATCHING T.V. AND DIDN'T GET TO PEEP OUTSIDE AT ALL. SO I TOLD HER TO GET HER LITTLE BOOTS BECAUSE WE WERE GOING TO THE LIBRARY TO SEE CORDUROY. THAT'S HER NEW BUDDY A THE LIBRARY... A LITTLE TEDDY BEAR. SO WHEN WE GOT THERE I TOOK A FEW PICTURES SO SHE CAN SEE HIM WHEN WE ARE AT HOME...OTHER THAN THE VIDEOS WE WATCH ON YOUTUBE OF HIM. I READ HER SOME BOOKS AND SHE DID SOME PUZZLES. SHE TOLD ME ALL OF HER COLORS IN THE COLOR BOOKS, WE HAD FUN. I KNOW THAT SHE IS A VERY BRIGHT CHILD BECAUSE ALL OF THE THINGS SHE DOES EARLY. SHE IS ALREADY POTTY TRAINED AND SHE HIT EVERY MILDSTONE EARLY. SO THIS IS WHERE I GET TO BRAG AND BOAST ABOUT HER BECAUSE THIS IS HER BOLG. I HAVE A GREAT STORY TO TELL ABOUT PUTTING HER TO BED TONIGHT. THERE ARE A LOT OF THINGS GOING ON IN THE WORLD RIGHT NOW SO I GET MY UPDATES FROM CNN. I WATCH IT ALL OF THE TIME AND SOMETIMES WHEN I AM ROCKING HER TO SLEEP AT NIGHT. WELL THEY ARE DOING ALOT OF STORIES ABOUT THE KILLER WHALE AT SEA WORLD THAT KILLED A LADY RECENTLY AND TWO OTHERS OVER THE YEARS. I THINK SHE WAS IN THE ROOM ONCE WHEN I HAD IT ON AND SHE WAS OBSERVING WHAT I WAS WATCHING. TONIGHT I WAS WATCHING CNN AND THEY STARTED TALKING ABOUT THE WHALE AND SHOWING PICTURES AND VIDEOS OF IT. SHE ASKS ME "MOMMY WHAT IS THAT"? SO I TOLD HER THAT IS WAS A WHALE BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO SAY KILLER. SHE REPLYED, "NO IT'S NOT...IT'S A ORCA". AN ORCA IS THE LARGEST MEMBER OF THE DOLPHIN FAMILY. WHICH IS THE KILLER WHALE THAT KILLED THAT LADY. I WAS SO SHOCKED. OTHER TWO YEAR OLDS DON'T SAY THINGS LIKE THAT. I THOUGHT THEY SAY GOO GOO GAA GAA AND POOP THEIR PANTS. WOW THAT LITTLE GIRL IS SO AMAZING TO ME. I LOVE THAT LITTLE GIRL.

OLIVIA AND HER LITTLE BUDDY CORDUROY AT THE LIBRARY

I was thinking the other day...I wonder what my next post will be about. Well I was posting something in Olivia's blog and she was in the kitchen going through the fridge. As soon ans I said, "Olivia get out of the kitchen", I heard a bid thud. I ran in to she was she got in to and this is what I saw as soon as I turned the corner.

So I put her in her crib and told her she had to stay there until I got done cleaning up her mess. When I was done cleaning the mess I returned to her bedroom and this is what she was wearing and what she was doing when I got back. She has a terrible two moment everyday...and this was one of them. Well two, she also took yogurt and smeared it all over her belly this morning at breatfast instead of eating it. This is why I am going back to work and she is going to preschool. I can't stay at home another year because I will be crazy by the time she is four.

Okay my first real post

This is my first real post for this blog. I am making this blog because I use to write down and post everything on my myspace which I will delete when I am done with all of my pictures. I made sure that I saved everything from her first year and her second year and now she is almost 2 1/2 and I am slacking big time on saving her pictures with the right dates on them. Plus I am planning on going back to work and I want to make sure that I don't miss anything or get unorganized with the precious moments in her life. Well thats it for now. It's going to take me a while to fill in the blanks.
